Shefali's illustrious career spans over two decades, with powerful performances in acclaimed films like Satya, Monsoon Wedding, and Dil Dhadakne Do. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Last Lear and has been a recipient of multiple awards, including the Filmfare and Asian Creative Academy awards. Her role in Delhi Crime brought her international acclaim, earning the series an Emmy Award for Best Drama and earning her a nomination for Best Actress in the second season.
Beyond acting, Shefali has made her mark as a director with her thought-provoking short films Someday and Happy Birthday Mummy Ji. Her latest film, Three of Us, has also received critical acclaim widely with her winning the Filmfare Best Actress (critics) and Critics Choice Award. She was also honored with the Best Actress award at the Tokyo International Film Festival for her role in Gandhi, My Father.
